Georgia's ambassador to China Davit Aptsiauri visited the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) on March 6, 2017. President Wang Jiaqiong of UIBE met the guests and expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and exchanges between UIBE and the International Black Sea University (IBSU).

President Wang also hoped to further enhance collaboration on research and establish a China-Georgia-Caucasian States research center under the B&R initiative.
Ambassador Aptsiauri expressed his thanks to President Wang and spoke highly of the level of UIBE's internationalization. On the back of the visit of Georgia's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to UIBE in 2015, cooperation is growing steadily.
Currently, nearly 20 Georgian students are studying in UIBE. Aptsiauri gave his backing to promote further integration between the universities to gain mutual benefits and cultivate more talents to serve the B&R.
Zhao Zhongxiu, Vice President of UIBE, discussed details of cooperation with the visiting delegation. Li Xiaomeng, Vice Director of the UIBE Department of International Relations and Ms. Tinatin Shishinashvili from the Georgian embassy attended the meeting. (By Pan Yan)
