The School of International Studies ushered in the 2015 postgraduate newcomers on September 7, 2015. The school staff who has got ready early are waiting for the new SISers to handle all kinds of registration procedures. The party deputy secretary of SIS Xu Wenbing and counselor Wang Gongyuan guided the work at the freshmen registration post in front of the Chengxin Building.

At 8 am, postgraduate newcomers came to the Chengxin Building one after another, which marks the beginning of the registering work. With the assistant of the school staff, the new SISers successfully finished the registration procedures. The SIS prepared each kind of admission materials for new SISers,handed them a fresh purple T-shirt with the UIBE logo and patiently replied to all types of questions asked by new SISers. The newcomers felt the enthusiasm and care from each smiling face, each warmly greeting and each careful preparation of SIS.

The leaders of UIBE also pay attention to the registration work of the SIS. The party secretary of UIBE Wang Ling, President Shi Jianjun, Vice-President Liu Ya, Executive Vice-President Ding Zhijie, and Minister of Graduate Department of Party Committee Lian Si guided the registration work of SIS on spot.

At 12:30 pm, the SIS work of welcoming graduate newcomers ended successfully. The SIS recruited 187 graduates this year, including 47 Masters of Science, 133 Masters of Professional and 7 Doctors. At 4 pm, the SIS deputy secretary Xu Wenbing and counselor Wang Gongyuan went to the dormitories of new graduates to extend their care and also asked them about the residential situation in detail. Finally, they extended their warmly welcome to the new graduates to join the SIS.
