UIBE representatives attend Silk Road forum

On November 18, 2015, the Modern Value of Historic Celebrities in China, Japan and South Korea and Construction of Lian Yungang: the Starting Point of the Silk Road international forum was unveiled in Lianyungang.

Professor Lin Guijun, Vice President of UIBE, Professor Leng Bojun, Dean of School of Information Technology and Management, Qin Liangjuan and Zhang Li, teachers of School of Information Technology and Management were invited to attend the forum, and made keynote speeches respectively on OBOR(One Belt and One Road) strategy, the impact of TPP on international foreign trade, intra-industry trade situation among China, Japan and South Korea, as well as China and South Korea cross border e-commerce.

The forum was co-hosted by the Institute of World Economics and Politics Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Lian Yungang Municipal Party Committee and People's Government, and undertaken by the Lian Yungang Municipal Propaganda Department, the Municipal Federation of Philosophy and Social Science and the Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.

The focus aimed at deepening OBOR national major strategic research, further promoting China, Japan and South Korea friendly exchanges, mutual benefits and win-win results, and accelerating the Lian Yungang OBOR intersection construction, the forum had extensive discussions about Construction of Lian Yungang: the Starting Point of Silk Road and Historic Celebrities in China, Japan and South Korea.

Attendees included Dong Chunke, Deputy Mayor of Lian Yungang and Cao Jiaming, Vice-Chairman of CPPCC attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Wang Tongsan, department member of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Zhou Zhibo, Deputy Director of Institute of World Economics and Politics Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Xu Zhishun, Vice-Chairman of Jiang Su of Federations of Humanities and Social Sciences, Zhang Yunfang, President of Xufu Research Society, Park Zhen-gi, former Director of the Bureau of Affairs Namhae Xufu Research Society, Akasaki Toshio, member of Japanese Archaeological Society and Vice-President of Xufu Research Society, and made keynote speeches.

Other experts and scholars, from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Shanghai Maritime University, Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences, Shaanxi Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, School of International Business Administration Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and the School of Modern Industry of Guangzhou University, delivered keynote speeches on Construction of Lian Yungang: the Starting Point of Silk Road. In addition, experts and guests from Japanese Archaeological Society, Yamisi Xufu Research Society, Namhae Xufu Research Society, the Commercial Press International Co,.Ltd, Lian Yungang Xufu Research Society, had exchanges and discussions about Modern Value of Historic Celebrities in China, Japan and South Korea.
