At the beginning of this semester UIBE updated its Open Courses Platform with a series of online quality courses (32 courses in total) from the New York Institute of Finance (NYIF).

Established with financial support from New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in 1922, NYIF is the first online-training institute in banking, finance, and corporate operation areas with a multitude of experienced teachers and experts. It has trained more than 1.3 million business students. As one of the National Registry of Continuing Professional Education Sponsors, a program offered by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to recognize continuing professional education (CPE) program sponsors who provide CPE programs in accordance with nationally recognized standards, NYIF can provide trainees with professional and quality courses.

The new series of courses at the Open Courses Platform cover a wide range of areas, including financial derivatives, wealth management, corporate finance, hedge fund, fixed incomes, merger and acquisition, and the application of derivatives in risk management.

The quality courses offer an opportunity for students and other people who are interested in financial knowledge and in working at the financial industry to broaden minds, increase knowledge, and improve personal values.
