Juan Carlos Capuñay Chávez, Ambassador of Peru to China, visited the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) and delivered a speech on March 10, 2017.

Zhao Zhongxiu, Vice President of UIBE welcomed the delegation led by the ambassador. The two sides discussed topics including the economic and trade relations between China and Peru as well as economic globalization.

Juan Carlos Capuñay Chávez said that the relationship between China and Peru is very important. Peru has attached great importance to the bilateral relationship as China has become a major trading partner of Peru.

Juan Carlos Capuñay Chávez also gave a speech at UIBE entitled "New policy of China towards Latin America and the Caribbean region." (By Li Na)
