Zhou Wenzhong, former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Secretary-General of the Boao Forum for Asia, visited the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) on May 23, 2017.

Jiang Qingzhe, Party Chief of UIBE, and Wang Jiaqiong, President of UIBE, welcomed Zhou who is also an outstanding alumnus of the university.

Jiang hoped that Zhou that could help promote the cooperation and communication between UIBE with and leading universities in the world. President Wang expected more guidance from Zhou in the future on the university's region and country-specific studiescountry and area research, as well as the development of think tanks.

Zhou said that many scholars and students from UIBE had played important roles in the Boao Forum for Asia. He hoped more professors and students could participate in the forum and made suggestions.

Zhou said that as an alumnus, he was happy to promote UIBE's international cooperation and communication, and help facilitate cooperation projects between UIBE and leading universities in the world. (By Li Na)
