Cuba's Ambassador to China Miguel Angel Ramirez Ramos visited the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing on Nov. 16, 2017, and met with Party secretary of UIBE, Jiang Qingzhe.
Jiang introduced the school’s characteristics of international talent training and its cooperation with Cuban universities. He hoped the ambassador’s visit to the school would deepen ties between UIBE and universities and think tanks in Cuba.
The ambassador quoted President Xi Jinping as saying that China and Cuba are” good friends, good comrades and good brothers” and hoped the universities of both countries could strengthen in-depth exchanges and jointly carry out cooperative researches.
The ambassador then delivered a speech entitled “Today, Future of Cuba and China-Cuba Relations.”
