Pr. David Dollar, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, visited the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing on March 28, 2018.

Vice President Zhao Zhongxiu of UIBE met with the Pr. Dollar and pointed out that his school has planned to attract more outstanding experts and scholars abroad to boost its international development under the guidance of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Pr. Dollar spoke highly of UIBE’s achievements in international development and hoped deeper all-round exchanges and cooperation with the UIBE.

Pr. Dollar also delivered a speech entitled “The impact of Trump’s tax cuts and infrastructure plan on world economy and US-China economic relations” at the UIBE.

Founded in 1916, the Brookings Institution is a renowned U.S. research group on Think Tank Row in Washington, D.C. It conducts research and education in the social sciences, primarily in economics, metropolitan policy, governance, foreign policy, and global economy and development.
