Afghan aid training programs held in UIBE

Graduation ceremonies were held for a workshop on Afghan anti-dumping and anti-subsidy and a training class for Afghan tax officials in UIBE on April 27 and 28 respectively.

Host by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by the UIBE, the two events lasted for 20 days, featuring lectures, field research and cultural activities.

 

The School of Continuing Education and Distance Education of the UIBE organized lectures on anti-dumping rules and practices, and China's tax policies on foreign trade and analysis. The trainees carried out a questionnaire and interviews for their research.

The trainees also conducted field research in enterprises in Fujian province, communicated with local officials and entrepreneur representatives.

 

They visited the Quanzhou Maritime Museum, which has deepened their understanding of the Maritime Silk Road in ancient times, as well as the fire equipment factory in Quanzhou, Fujian province, to see first-hand the Made in China brand.

Zhao Zhongxiu, vice president of the UIBE, said that the university will continue to respond to the government's needs and do a good job in foreign-aid training in a bid to contribute to the construction of the community of shared future for mankind as well as the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.
