On June 13, 2018, a delegation of eight senior global PwC partners visited the University of International Economics and Business (UIBE) to share their experience in international and domestic business environment, corporate governance and career development.

At the invitation of professor Fan Libo, director of the Research Center for Multinational Corporations, the partners came from the United States, Germany, France, Britain, Singapore and China’s Hong Kong all serving for companies of technology and telecommunications.

As a part of global learning tour for PwC’s senior partners, the event was aimed to broaden their vision, improve their cognitive skills in China’s business, innovation and entrepreneurship, and sharpen their understanding of China’s education system. 

The PwC partners attended a lunch exchange meeting with more than 20 international students from UIBE’s Business School and the School of Public Administration. They discussed topics regarding careers in intermediary services, professional competence, work ethics and career prospects.

Statistics by UIBE shows that a total of 628 graduate and undergraduate students of the university joined PwC from 2010 to 2017, the number ranking first among the four major international accounting firms.
