The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) topped five other economics and finance universities listed among China’s top 100 universities of 2018, according to ShanghaiRanking Consultancy.

Founded in 1951, the UIBE is a multi-disciplinary and national key university with economics, management, law, literature and science as its core academic areas of expertise.

ShanghaiRanking released a list of the Best Chinese Universities Rankings (BCUR) of 2019 on Jan. 23, displaying the top 549 universities with the best and most comprehensive performance.

Tsinghua University tops the ranking, then comes Peking University in second place and Zhejiang University in third place.

BCUR ranks universities by their performance in teaching and learning, research, social service as well as internationalization.
