The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) and Shanxi government have inked a strategic cooperation agreement in an effort to establish strategic cooperative ties in strategic consultation, scientific and technological cooperation, transformation of achievements, talents training and personnel exchanges and speed up the local government’s economic restructuring and growth.

UIBE president Wang Jiaqiong led a team to Taiyuan City for a symposium on cooperation between Shanxi government and high-level universities on Jan. 4.

Wang appreciated the local government’s support in cooperation with universities and promised to develop a world-class think-tank platform in helping the national and local economic and social development.
