Huang Baoyin, secretary of the CPC Committee of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), held online talks with Matan Vilnai, former Israeli ambassador to China and president of the university branch in Israel, on June 13.

They exchanged opinions on the development of the branch. As the only Chinese university in Israel, the UIBE campus in the central city of Petah Tikva is of great significance to China and Israel, said Huang.

With the joint efforts of the UIBE in Beijing and the university's branch in Israel, Vilnai believed that the Chinese university in Israel would play a bigger role in education, scientific research and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
