VP Zhao accorded member of European Academy of Sci. & Arts

     

   On March 7th, 2015, the 25th Festive Plenary Session of European Academy of Sciences and Arts was held in Salzburg, Austria. Through the procedures of recommendation and selection, Vice President of University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Professor Zhao Zhongxiu was accorded the active member of the Class of social sciences, laws and economics of European Academy of Sciences and Arts and was awarded the certificate and badge of the active member. It is reported that 120 distinguished scholars from all over the world were selected as active members. This year, 520 active members attended the annual meeting, which marks the 25th anniversary of European Academy of Sciences and Arts. Austrian President Heinz Fischer attended the session and delivered a speech.

      Headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, European Academy of Sciences and Arts was founded on March 7th, 1990. It is comprised of 7 classes: humanity, medicine, arts, natural sciences, social sciences/laws and economics, technology and environmental science, and world religions. European Academy of Sciences and Arts is committed to promoting inter-disciplinary scientific researches, dialogue and communication. Now, there are 1,600 active members (mainly from Europe), including 32 Nobel prize winners. In addition, there are 8 research institutes and it also founded Alma Mater Europaea University.
 

      During the session, Professor Zhao Zhongxiu made constructive discussions with Professor Felix Unger, President of European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and Professor Ludvik Toplak, President of Alma Mater Europaea University in promoting academic cooperation.
