The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) held a seminar on innovation and research in the digital era Sept. 11, with preeminent scholars in the fields of technology and behavioral research sharing cutting-edge research.
During a keynote speech entitled "Cross-media Intelligence Research," Peking University Professor Peng Yuxin introduced the latest developments, trends, goals and sectors for innovation in cross-media research.
Meanwhile, Tsinghua University Associate Professor Lin Zhijie shared his research results about individual sellers' social media engagement and sales performance in social marketplaces, highlighting social media's power to build consumer trust.
The event is a part of a slate of activities UIBE has planned for its 70th-anniversary celebrations.
