We have made proactive preparations and concerted efforts with Korea-China Science and Technology Exchange Center at the initial stage of the program, aiming to implement such programs successfully. The year 2015 marks the 70th anniversary of victory of World Anti-Fascist War, which witnessed Korean President Park Geun-hye’s attendance at the China military parade ceremony. Her visit has promoted many cooperation programs between Korea and China. Against such a background, the sign of this agreement takes on special meaning. Yi Daxiang, the Director of the Center, said that a good beginning is half the success, which indicates the joint efforts made by UIBE and the Center will deepen the research and cooperation in training foreign students’ entrepreneurship and innovation, thus further promote South Korean students’ work in this aspect.

Korea-China Science and Technology Exchange Center is the operating center of Korean Future Creation and Science Ministry. UIBE and the Center will cooperate with each other from October this year by providing training courses on entrepreneurship and innovation to Korean students in China. This is the first time for Korean government to support such program in China. As a part of training program for foreign students’ entrepreneurship and employment, the cooperation with the Center will be carried out by utilizing resources from all parties. There are many forms for this program, such courses and lectures about entrepreneurship, employment and working skills, practical business investigation, entrepreneurship simulation laboratory, internship in a company and business incubators. Its goal is to serve as a comprehensive training program that incorporates the pre-service training, entrepreneurship skills training, entrepreneurship and employment guidance, and enterprise internship and practice. By setting such goals, it is determined to improve vocational skills, employability skills and entrepreneurial skill for foreign students studying in China. In addition, such cooperation also signifies UIBE rank among the top Chinese universities in terms of entrepreneurship innovation and education for foreign students studying in China.
