The 10th Beijing Humboldt Forum (BHF), hosted by the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), held its annual meeting via video link from Sept. 17 to 18.
During the BHF webinar, 14 parallel sessions were held under the theme of "Cultural Heritage, Green Economy and Area Studies." Sessions focused on the low-carbon development of the energy sector; conservation of biodiversity; translation and interpretation of Chinese literature in Europe and America; studies of people studying in Germany; sustainable development of lithium resources; digital economy and data protection; world history and China; a new pattern of international political cooperation and competition; regional and country studies; and China-EU cooperation and the Global Development Initiative.
The forum sessions brought together nearly 1,000 experts and scholars from China, Germany, Austria, Japan, France and Italy, as well as teachers and students from UIBE.
