President Wu welcomed the delegation and introduced UIBE's history, international education programs, academic strengths and development strategy.
He highlighted the university's distinctive international orientation as well as its leading research platforms and academic strengths in economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering and management.
Wu noted that cooperation between the two universities dates back to 2007 and has maintained sound momentum over the years. Their jointly established Confucius Institute is a landmark achievement of their partnership. Enjoying extensive influence in Moscow and across Russia, the Institute has played an active role in promoting Sino-Russian linguistic and cultural exchanges, he said.
Looking ahead, Wu expressed the hope for deeper cooperation in Confucius Institute development, faculty and student exchanges, joint research and grant applications. He called on both universities to leverage their respective strengths for win-win outcomes.

Loginov thanked UIBE for its hospitality and introduced RSUH's academic structure, faculties, and talent training programs.
Describing UIBE as an important partner, Loginov said the visit had deepened mutual understanding and trust.
He looked forward to expanded collaboration with UIBE in Confucius Institute development, academic exchanges, joint research and master's dual-degree programs.
Tatiana Urzhumtseva, the Russian secretary-general of the Association of Sino-Russian Economic Universities (ASREU), accompanied the delegation on this visit.
